The trench in the Chapel region being for the most part sterile and as Kun must leave from Tuesday, I decide to stop the searches in the earth for the most part in the NE region and to resume in the centre of the town: 1 trench to the East of the N-S street opposite House 18. And as the wind strong prevents working there, the dust blinding the men, I begin a relief trench in the S region of House 18 beyond the E-W street which borders it on the S side. Thus concentrating the supervision is also easier. The system of the simple men works much better and other men from the villages around come to ask
