Fine, cool in the morning Sunrise at 6h 20. - Since yesterday I have changed the starting time of work fixed by Kuss and Mihail before my arrival at 7h at 6h 30 so as to obtain at 12 a stop of 1h 1/2 at instead of 1 h. All the workmen had come around 6h 1/2 and were sitting waiting for work to begin. - I have again had sent away yesterday evening 2 workmen, esp. lazy, and to warn the others who continue to work very slowly, still sitting half the time and at the change of shift still working slowly and chatting and resting again when it is their turn to shovel
