10th Excavation Campaign, 1957.

Ex. attent. des / bagages des passagers / chypriotes : mesure / précaution contre / terrorisme.Tuesday 1 October.I send Kuss by plane to open camp and prepare material. Friday 4 October, sending of de Contenson and his wife. He must revisit the Museum then come after exc. to Kyrenia on Sunday 6 to Enk. Sunday 6 Saturday 5 October: Dep. from Beirut, on S/S. Agamemnon (Naumicos line) to Larnaca with Odile, Jeep and 20 suitcases and luggage packages, books, excavation equipment and camp. We arrive in the evening at 8 in the roads of Limassol. Slow disembarkation & formalities customs which are made easier for us, but laborious all the same. Lasts until 11h 1/2 Jeep remains at customs & we sleep at Limassol (Metropole h.) in bed at Midnight.
