The Director of Antiquities Cyprus

Sir, From the finds made during the 1957 excavations at Enkomi, I have selected the following items for study in Paris. I would be grateful to you to deliver me a temporary export licence. The antiquities could be added to those of the division or, if too late, could be handed to M. Kuss who is authorized by me to sign the customary undertaking. The antiquities will be returned by me at the occasion of my next season of excavations at Enkomi, automn 1958.

Yours sincerely C. F. A. Schaeffer
