Saturday 7 Nov.53_ Arrived from Forrer s/ Fouadiye with luggage and Jeep at Limassol, 12 morning. Via Nicosia where Taiada, chief clerk, hands him 50 £ (on my behalf), at Enkomi where Georgos has the camp cleaned with women. Sunday, 8 Nov 53. Forrer continues organising the camp, hires cook (Dhespina) and Antounakis. Miachelis now Custodian at Salamis, not available yet. Monday, 9 Nov. 53. Visit from Dikaios, hands 50 £ to F. and new "licence" that I requested from Megaw. At noon Forrer collects Odile + Sarrade - Kuss - Courtois at the aerodrome of Nicosia, introduces colleagues to Dik. Odile shopping in Nicosia. Tuesday 10 Nov. Odile and Forrer organise camp + purchases at Fam. while Sarrade - Kuss - Courtois make excursions to Kyrenia, Bella Pais, St. Hilarion etc until Wednesday evening. Wednesday 11 Nov.: Odile + Forrer finish the camp, Forrer tries to obtain 2 tents to shelter workman + equipment + night watchman (nightwatch)
