Professor H.-J. HUNDT Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum Ernst-Ludwig-Platz 2 MAINZ Germany

Dear and honoured Professor Hundt,

I thank you very warmly for the fine report on the restoration and rescue of the bronze finds from Enkomi-Alasia and of the tablet. It corresponds exactly to what I hoped for and will receive an honoured place in Enkomi-Alasia, Vol. II. For the illustrations I would ask you to send me, well packed, a good enlargement 18 X 24 of the fine general photograph of the casts displayed in a case at your museum. I would like to add these to the report. This can wait until after your holidays, if you travel soon to Switzerland, where I wish you good weather and refreshing rest.

With warm greetings also to your colleagues.

Your ever grateful and devoted

P.S. I am having Ugaritica VI sent to you, with a preliminary report on the swords. In Enkomi-Alasia II the whole find and the cult wagon will be thoroughly appraised by Lagarce and me, with a contribution by Bonzek.
