To Prof. Dr. H.-J. HUNDT Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum Ernst-Ludwig-Platz 2 4/10 MAINZ Germany

Dear Dr. Hundt!

I am returning to my letter of a short while ago, in which I asked you, whether and when you would come to Paris (as Joffroy told me) and whether and when I could collect the last Enkomi bronzes from your institute, or have them collected could (from Lagarce). I was to deliver these in October to the Nicosia- Museum. Of course, if anything is not ready, the Cypriots must simply wait. In July and August I am at my Vosges house near Colmar and could perhaps collect the bronzes from there myself, of course only if I had the pleasure and opportunity of seeing you again in person.

My niece Mrs Kron-Porrer, 44 Dehnhardstr., 6 Frankfurt 50, who is a member of our expedition, could make a drawing of the little cult wagon so that it can be published soon. The find has already aroused much interest and I must therefore announce it as soon as possible. May I ask you to give Mrs Kron-Porrer the opportunity in your laboratory to draw the little wagon. She will contact you by telephone. Many thanks in advance.

In volume II of Enkomi-Alasia, in which the bronzes as definitive publication is to appear early in 1970, I would like to publish the article for which I asked you: The Technique of Treatment and Conservation of the Enkomi bronzes and the observations reported there by you and your colleagues observations. Would it be possible for you to send me this so valuable contribution by the end of the year? We could discuss it in Mainz, if I could meet you there. I would add a French résumé to the study attach.

With warm greetings.

Yours
