To Prof. Dr. W. Hundt Roman-Germanic Central Museum Mainz Ernst Ludwig Platz Germany

Dear Professor Hundt!

I heard from Mr Joffroy that you are coming to Paris in May and to Saint-Germain, and I hope you will let me know where and when it would be possible to meet you on that occasion.

I have spoken to Joffroy about the question of the moulding of the Vix finds, respoken to him again and softened him up for it. He will discuss it with you directly.

The swords you saved and the cult wagon from Enkomi- Alasia will be honoured at the first International Cyprus Congress, next week, where I shall be present.

Could you have the remaining bronzes ready by the end of September since we must leave for Nicosia at the beginning of October and then return them to the Museum? If, however, this were impossible, let please let me know (mix), so that I can request an extension of the export licence —

Until we meet again, I hope in May, and with warm greetings.
