Mr K. NICOLAOU Curator of the Archaeological Museum NICOSIA Island of Cyprus

Dear Mr Nicolaou,

I thank you for your letter of 13 October that Mr Pelon forwarded to me. My department archaeological department at the Collège de France has been moved to an annexe room because of transformation works. My files and portfolios have been piled up, so that research is difficult for the moment. As soon as I regain access to these documents, I will gather what must be returned to your Museum. In the meantime, I remain responsible for these loans.

I have learnt that you were going to come to Paris to give lectures. I am delighted with Mrs Schaeffer at this opportunity to see you again. Please inform me of the dates of your presence here.

Please convey my wife's best regards and my very respectful homage to Mrs Nicolaou, and believe, dear Mr Curator,
