Dear Friend,

I have duly received your latest samples and I am doing what is necessary, but truly there is little material to give you anything precise.

Please find enclosed, in two tables, the analyses of the bronzes and coppers that you sent me already several months ago. I apologise for not having given you these results as quickly as I would have wished, but I have been very absorbed following my trip to America.

You will be very kind, on my next trip to Paris, to come and have lunch with me. I will let you know by telephone.

Asking you to present to Madame SCHAEFFER my most respectful regards, please believe, my dear Friend, in my very warm sympathy.
