Dear Dr. Schaeffer,

I am afraid that I will keep you waiting a bit longer, and I decided to return to Nicosia and have read your letter. When you have an hour I shall be glad to have a talk with you.

Please let me know on the matter. I have come to see the points you mention. [illegible] to find a way out, I would probably have to do a good deal of the work myself. I also told you that it would need to be done so that the sheet is seen by the Department. But I should like to know whether you could come to Nicosia by the end of September, or to agree to go to Enkomi and see the work done. If you are not available I will write to you again.

Yours sincerely,
