I thank you for your letter of 23 July 1973. As regards the statue of the god with the ingot I agree that its treatment be completed at Mainz. I have already written to my Ministry so that its export be authorised for treatment. Please confirm, if you would be so kind, that all treatment costs will be paid by you.
