Dr. V. KARAGEORGHIS Director of the Department of Antiquities N I C O S I A Ile de Chypre

Dear Director,

I am glad to have good news from you and your activity after your herculean efforts in March-April.

My article is buried in a trunk with books which should have [handwritten: been] been sent by our consul Murat in Famagusta, but has not yet arrived. I am sorry I can't do anything before I get this document back. Please phone to Murat and ask him if the trunk has left and when I can expect it. Thanks in advance, and respectful regards to Madame Karageorghis.
