Dear Professor Schaeffer,

Thank you for your letter of Saturday, enclosing a statement showing the balance of your deposit account.

The total cost of the three plots we now propose to buy - Nos. 265, 331 and 332 - should be more than £87, which was the cost of the two adjoining plots 330 and 333, as the areas of these two groups of plots is approximately the same.

Regarding accommodation in Nicosia, Miss Orr recommends the Hotel European, which costs about 12/- a day including food, and is reasonably clean.

I have ordered photographs of the two [illegible] from Tomb 2.
