I think I should mention my idea that at this stage it would be useful if a narrow "promenade" were left undug between your areas and ours. In addition to facilitating observation of the areas on either side it would preserve all round the limits of these sectors an exposed section, to which it might be useful to refer at the publication stage, when no others will be available. Such "promenades" would also facilitate removal of earth in your future excavations and in any checking work which Dikaios finds necessary in preparing his publication.
I hope within a month to be released from my present duties and look forward to visiting you at Enkomi at the first opportunity.
