You will hear on arrival that I have been sent to Paphos to assist in the work of reconstruction following the earthquakes. Apart from arrangements for the repair of damaged buildings and the replacement of the many destroyed houses, we have undertaken the removal of six villages to better sites, which is quite a big operation.
Consequently your communications have been dealt with by Dikaios, with whom however I have had an opportunity of discussing things during a brief visit to Nicosia. It seems that after all we shall be able to release Michael, now employed by us at Salamis, by transferring there one of our Kyrenia staff.
I note the areas which you plan to investigate and hope you have a successful season. As you will be working in the neighbourhood of our "temple" area
