the excavation of the mainbuilding ( where the statue has been found ) and establish its relationship to the underlying levels and its date of foundation, not only with the help only of the evidence above the mainfloor (V) or in on its surface, but from with the evidence below , starting the sequence from the rock, which is the only safe way to establish the date of foundation of the "temple" building. When , after during my 1950 season, I have found deep penetrations into in this floor V from later occupants of the building , I informed you and your curator & Dik., that this may possibly give a new interpretation of those finds Dik. which had have been shown me as his evidence for dating the construction of the ashlar building in the Early Iron Age. After having now worked carefully through my rich material of the last season (1950) , I declare that I am again convinced that your curator's Dik.'s dating in L C III, or<s> (or XII-XI bc Early Iron Age) of the fd/ is wrong , and that of the ashlar building with floor V he will find that out it ( or others in the future will find it ) that that the ashlar building belongs to the Late Bronze Age (of LC II)
