Our next season. Dikaios will be digging at Enkomi in June and July, exact dates not yet fixed. So if you come in September that would fit in very well.

French Mission's finds. The cleaning and restoration of your 1949 pottery has now been completed. But for the fact that we have had a new recruit to be trained, it would not have been possible to spend so much time on it and you should not count on us for the same scale of assistance with the material from future seasons. We have, incidentally, moved your 1946 and 1947 finds from the Museum store down to the Khan so that all your material may be together - except of course those of special value which remain in the Museum proper, such as 1949 tomb 2.

Bronze Bowl from Tomb 2. I have asked that the British Embassy in Paris be requested to accept the bowl from you for conveyance by safe hand to Plenderleith at the British Museum. If you get in touch with the chancery on your return, I hope they will by then be forewarned and agreeable to help.

Acquisition of 3 additional plots. I presume that now your 1950 credit is through it will not be long before your share can be made available. The half share is £271.17.4½, but taking into account the £50 we are now expecting from your bank, we shall need only £238 more.
