The Financial Service of the Directorate General of Cultural Relations has just opened for you a credit of 600 Livres, intended for excavations and archaeological research in the island of Cyprus directed by Professor C.F.A. Schaeffer, Director of Research at the Centre National de la Recherches Scientifique, Curator of the Museums of France.
I have the honour of asking you to kindly take the necessary steps so that this sum is paid into the Current Account of Professor Schaeffer at the Barclay's Bank at Famagusta pending his arrival in Cyprus.
I would also be grateful if you would let know Professor Schaeffer from when the funds in question are held at his disposal at the Barclay's Bank, Famagusta. (Address of Prof. Schaeffer, c/o Museum of Nicosia, Cyprus).
