I have a brother in Lyon who has finished his studies as an architect at the Beaux Arts in Paris and very much wishes to return to Cyprus. At present he is with my two other brothers in Lyon. I have already made enquiries with the British Consul in Lyon, who replied that he will do his best to have him leave by the first opportunity. It is already 2-3 months and nothing has come of it. I would very much like to ask you kindly [illegible] to help my brother find passage on a ship perhaps on the one you will take for v yourself. I apologise for troubling you with a personal matter but I do not see how otherwise I could speed up my brother's return. I lui write to my brother by the same post and ask him to address himself to you. I hope you will kindly excuse the trouble. I am writing to you in case you might be able to do something, without it causing you any bother.

I ask you to [illegible] accept, dear friend, my affectionate regards, and give Madame Schaeffer my respectful compliments and the good wishes of my wife. Yours, Dikaios
