I am going to give to the Académie end of March, my report on the excavations and shall send you soon a copy and reproductions of the plans. On the other hand I shall put the joint expedition scheme before the board at about the same time and inform you then of the results of my representations.
I am glad to know you are going to have a holiday this year and that you are away for the hottest months during which we shall avoid to come to Cyprus.

Meanwhile you are sure to get the funds from your government, let me know. I shall then order my bank in Famagusta to put at the disposal of your department £ 300/0/0. Together with your share, that would allow to acquire at once the following most needed plates: 852, 333, 331, 330, 365, which would amount to about £ 602/0/0.

Could you, in view of the purchase, ask the Department concerned to have the land correctly mapped and put Fixed marks on the ground to indicate the limits of the fields. We need them urgently to be able to orientate correctly our plans and will need them in future even more.
