I have the honour to confirm my letter of 24 August 1946, a copy of which was sent to M.Dikaios
I hasten to inform you that I hold at your disposal a cheque on the Barclays Bank of Nicosia, a cheque for £ 41.13.0 representing the balance of the credit of £ 750 allocated to you by the Directorate General of Antiquities.
I would be grateful if you would kindly send me the receipts that I had sent on 23 August to M.Dikaios, as well as those that I enclose herewith, and by return I will send you the aforementioned cheque.
