I have the honour to confirm my letter of 24 August 1946, a copy of which was sent to Mr Dikaios.
I hasten to inform you that I hold at your disposal a cheque on the Barclays Bank of Nicosia, cheque of £ 41.13.0 representing the balance of the credit of £ 2750 which was allocated to you by the Directorate General of Cultural Relations.
I would be grateful if you would kindly send me the receipts that I had sent on 28 August to Mr Dikaios, as well as those that I enclose herewith, and by return of post I will send you the aforementioned cheque.
