In a room to the west as well as in the space to the north of the sanctuary in which the God was found we have recovered several skulls of young bovids and of wood of deer which appear to be offerings to the God[handwritten: /] These crânes appartiennent aux premiers planchers (XII siècle) but in a part of the building to the west of the sanctuary we found two bovid skulls on a floor older, which indicates that the custom of offering bovid heads did not belong only to the phase final of the life of the sanctuary. On this floor we also recovered a bronze statuette of Fig 10a of a bovid[handwritten: /]an ivory lid and other small objects
Among the observations relating to the history of the building we describe, those which concern a catastrophe suffered by the city in the form of an earthquake is the most interesting. This earthquake had already been observed at Enkomi by Mr Schaeffer, who relates it to the catastrophe seismic mentioned[handwritten: é] by Abimilki of Tyre in a letter to Amenophis IV found at Tell-el-Amarna and dated 1370 to 1360 B.C. The observations made by us confirm the earthquake de terr'd'une manière probante mais
