Mycenaean IIIC: 1 wavy line style. This style becomes predominant in the third and latest stage (floor III-I). These ceramic stages correspond to the architectural development. The earliest stage represents the life of the building prior to the conflagration, which damaged most of the compound and was followed by repairs and rearrangements on floor V. The middle stage corresponds to the use of the building as rearranged while the third and last includes the stage (floor II) at which the building was destroyed [illegible]by earthquake and the partial reoccupation (floor I) which followed.
Room VI. (pl.LIV - LXIV).
This is on the frontage of the South Building and adjoins room III on the east. After the alteration it was united with the latter room from floor IV onwards, but the pottery from the upper floors overlying room VI was kept separate from that found in the rest of the united room and is described here. On the other hand the material from the upper floors of room VI A, with which room VI was combined in the later stages, is not included either.
