Dear Mr. Megaw,
I got your letter dated 16 k. Aug. here after some delay. I am glad to know, that the termination of our association will not embitter our personal connections. In life things turn not out always as one wishes. But I hope that we will feel later that the step taken was right.
I am very interested in the new material of and underfloor T of which you informe me in your last § of the front page of your letter. I shall look through it with great hope.
As you suggest all further problems will belle, be discussed when I am coming to Nicosia.
I am off to-morrow by plane to Istanbul to join the congress for 2 or 3 days. Then I am going to Ankara to discuss matters with the Tut Serv. and fly then to Malatya where we have a series of stratigraphical sections to finish. Forrer will be there before me to prepare the work.
I hope to be back in Beyr. end of Sept. And after a day or two of further discussion in Damascus from there I come, I am ready to come over to Nicosia.
I think I can say that during the 1st week of October I shall arrive there.
