C/ The hall immediately to the East of the main street. The hall which occupies the South-East corner of the crossroads measures about 5 m. East-West by 3 m. North-South; it had two successive floors sifs, one at 0.50, the other at 0.80.
Above the upper floor, down to 0.50, one meets with Iron I pottery: "bucchero", jar base with grooves, bowl base with red concentric circles, handle with double stem ending in a ring shape, as well as a wheel (Pt. 20) and a quadruped (Pt. 21) from a miniature terracotta chariot.
On the second floor, at 0.80, it seems one is at the beginning of the Iron I: horizontal handles, cup with horizontal lug and band of light paint on reddish dark slip, lamp with strongly pinched spout, fragment of goblet foot with [illegible] bands parallel red.
Below this floor, the material is fairly mixed down to 1.50: end of Iron I: bowls of "wavy line" style ("Myc. III C 2"); beginning of Iron I: carinated bowls with red decoration on cream ground ("Myc. III C 1"); Late Bronze II-III: Cypro-Mycenaean kraters, "spindle bottle", incised handles of "base ring" type, bowls with recarved wall, "milk bowl".
At 1.50 m. depth, immediately above the virgin soil, the pottery of the end of the Middle Bronze becomes abundant (Pt. 54): sherds "red on black", jugs with black concentric bands on the neck, black decoration of wavy band between horizontal bands, handles with rectangular profile in green fabric with black paint.
III°. To the North of the second East-West street.
A/ Industrial zone in the northern part. Immediately to the South of the 1949 area, there is a region characterised by narrow corridors, generally containing much ash and terracotta tuyères, coming no doubt from kilns. The presence of numerous slag indicate that these installations served for a metallurgy of a craft type, analogous to that practised at Ugarit.
