Stratification (Myc. IIIc) is dated from 1200 to 1104 around 1200 to 950.

But for the moment on this question, we have not yet been able to obtain enough evidence at Enkomi.

We can therefore for the moment leave it outside the discussion.

To sum up, I summarise the stages of the stratigraphy of the Mycenaean necropolis found at Enkomi, and of the houses that were installed, one after another, as well as the dates we believe can be assigned to the main events in the history of Enkomi from the second half of the 14th c. to the middle of the 12th c.

1. End of the 14th c. to the beginning of the 13th c. (between 1350 and 1290): foundation of the palace in the western part of the town and capture of the new enceinte at Enkomi.

2. Between 1250 and 1200, reconstruction of the palace at Enkomi by another dynasty, of the fine civilisation of Ugarit... [illegible]

3. Between 1200 and 1150, fire of the palace and arrangements of new houses at Enkomi following an invasion, and mass occupation of this battle of Cyprus by the navy of the Peoples of the Sea, who are linked to the Philistines.

4. Then the invasion which was led (?) at the Egyptian frontier by Ramesses III following his naval and land victory over the Hyksos around 1191, according to the short chronology.
