Roughly from this line begins 2 to slope 1 the rock fairly steeply to the north-east in the direction towards undergrävningsmuren the wall 7 – (5-8), where the earth is considerably deeper than in room 24. The ground level is on the whole horizontal up to the said wall. Only north-east of this does the actual steep slope begin. – Room 7 is excavated with the help of a rail line from wall 3 – 33 up to the gateway in wall 15 A further side track is laid down in the direction towards wall 11 – 10. The earth layers are examined and studied in a series of sections, which radiate out from the centre of the room. All but one are however laid out at right angles to the surrounding walls. Starting from the south-east corner the sections are numbered in sequence towards the east.
