Situation.Probably anold mine passageThe hole is callednow ajosajotrípa ofarg argos = ärg… are found everywhere on the surface. The situation in the field and the house is in the highest degree noteworthy. Paradisiótissa is as is well known a deep valley next to the sea, bounded inland on all sides by high almost vertical mountain slopes. At the bottom of the valley two small rivers flow remarkably out into the sea. The shore itself consists of a c. 20 m vertical cliff completely inaccessible to people. The rivers' water thus drips directly down from above into the salt sea which gurgles in the holes deep below. Both rivers originally had their sources high up on the cliff. For the west river in ancient times a c. 50 ? m. long passage was cut horizontally into the rock for the purpose of collecting the water? Nowadays the spring has been moved considerably deeper down into the valley. Between the two small rivers lies in the middle of the valley a small ridge which serves as a watershed and on a horizontal projection of this ridge apparently in the middle of Paradisiotissa valley lies the mentioned house.
