Rum 11.Profil a)Room 11 lies between room 1 and room 10. In its original state it should have had the same appearance as room 1, but it contains later additions and alterations Room 11 has previously been partly excavated and to a certain extent limited. Now the room is being fully excavated, whereby the earth is carried east to a cart placed close to the wall in room 7. Close to this wall a section has been left standing in room 11 evenly 1 m from the wall and parallel to it (section a). The section shows a sequence of important natural collapse layers, which are all evidently undisturbed. Roughly in the middle of the room section a) is intersected by an angle-section b), and at the angle point the layers have the following appearance

12,20 mdark cultivated surface layer
21,97 mWhite gypsum earth typical mud-brick collapse
31,70 mRed earth (debris of dark mud-brick)
41,50 mGrey-green sandy earth probably
debris of dissolved light
mud-brick.
