Oval dark seal or scarab with light incised lines, photographed on a grey mount with a handwritten number label — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3947. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A glossy, dark oval seal or scarab fills most of a grey card mount, with pale incised lines across its upper left part and a vertical line down the centre. Its design is hard to read at this scale. A handwritten number label sits below the mount, and the edge of a second photograph of a similar dark object appears at the right.
