Glyptic (A.I. 2539)

Seven small domed stone objects, dark and pale, arranged in three rows on a grey background, glyptic material — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3943. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Seven small objects of dark and pale stone sit in three rows on a grey card. Each is roughly oval or rounded-rectangular with a domed upper surface and a flat base, and the top-left and bottom-left pieces show a perforation at one end. The surfaces are worn and speckled, and the flat faces are not shown, so no engraving can be seen.
