Description

Profile view of a carved head with wavy hair bound by a wreath of long leaves or ribbons, the ear and cheek clearly modelled. The head rises from a neck set into a rectangular white block, with a scale bar and a number label placed on the block in front. The plain grey backdrop makes the stone stand out, and surface wear and small chips are visible on the cheek and chin.
