Pottery Special Wares (1725 A)

Description
A reconstructed pottery vessel with a tall, curved spout rising on the right, shown on a small dark stand against a plain grey backdrop. The body is painted in dark on a pale ground, with a band of short vertical strokes at the rim, a frieze of animals including a spotted animal and a dog-like head, and a lower zone of framed square panels with rosettes. Cracks and fitted joins show where fragments have been put together, and a number label is written on the body.
