Relief fragment of a standing figure in a long pleated garment on a grey stone plaque — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3614. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A broken stone relief plaque shows a standing figure in a long, vertically pleated garment, with the head turned slightly to one side and the hair drawn back. One arm is bent and grips a vertical rod or staff at the left edge, and the other arm hangs at the side. A diagonal break crosses the lower left, and the slab is photographed flat on a grey backdrop.
