Description

A head carved in marble, shown in three-quarter view against a plain grey background. The face has heavy-lidded, downcast eyes, a straight nose and a small mouth, and a band runs across the brow beneath a full mass of hair or headdress. The lower part is broken away below the chin, and the surface is worn and pitted in places.
