Decorated bowls

Circular bowl with engraved scenes of figures, animals and chariot-like shapes, photographed from above — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3544. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A round, shallow bowl with a dark, slightly worn surface, photographed straight down on a plain grey backdrop. Thin incised lines cover the interior in scenes: a central standing figure with a bow or spear faces a second figure, with animals and other figures and shapes around the rim. A number label is written on the rim at the top.
