Description

A round-bodied jug with a flaring rim, a tall neck and one strap handle rising from the neck to the shoulder. The surface is pale and painted in dark bands: horizontal lines on the neck, a wavy band at the rim, and vertical panels of cross-hatching and chevron-like motifs running down the body. The number 316 is painted on the neck, and the jug stands against a plain grey background.
