Description

A watercolour painting of a jug with a flaring rim and a narrow neck banded with a twisted-rope ornament, plus a small knob on the neck. A loop handle rises from the neck to the shoulder on one side, and small lugs project from the shoulder and lower body. The rounded body is reddish-brown with a soft polished sheen, shown alone on a pale ground.
