Description

A pottery jug with a large loop handle on the left and a flared rim with a raised lip on the right. The rounded body stands on small feet and is decorated with incised chevron and herringbone bands on the shoulder and lower body, and vertical grooved lines on the belly. It is shown dark against a pale ground, mounted on a card with a border.
