Description

Interior of a large hall seen down long rows of columns with carved capitals, linked by arches that spring from one column to the next. The columns are pale with darker bases, and the floor is covered with bands of striped matting or carpet. Bright patches of light fall across the floor, and a handwritten number appears at lower left.
