Description

A wide view over a ruined site with rows of standing columns and low walls, and a large shed with a corrugated roof at left centre. In the foreground narrow-gauge rails cross bare ground, with two small wagons on the tracks and several workers standing and crouching near heaps of earth. Beyond the ruins a hazy plain stretches to distant hills under a pale sky.
