Description

A tall, tapering faience pot with a narrow mouth and rounded shoulder, standing upright on a flat surface. Its surface has horizontal bands of relief decoration: scalloped arches near the rim, rounded motifs, a dense interlaced design in the centre, a looped festoon band, and a lower zone of tall pointed leaf-like forms. Fine cracks run across the surface, and the grey tones of the photograph soften the relief.
