Stone macehead (A.J.2023 Vol.IV:2)
Description
A pen-and-ink drawing on a pale card shows a stone object with a wide, scalloped outer rim and a thick, ring-shaped top surrounding a deep central bore. Cross-hatching and short strokes shade the inside of the hole and the sides, and a few hatched patches show the lower lobes. A handwritten number label sits in the top left corner.
