Limestone Neo-Cypriote

Description

A stone sculpture of a head and upper body, shown in left profile against a dark grey backdrop. The hair is rendered with raised ridges over the brow and a long column of wavy, zigzag incised bands falling behind the ear, which is modelled in relief. The almond-shaped eye, full lips and chin are smooth, with some weathering and small chips on the surface, especially at the top right.
