Description

A carved limestone head shown in left profile, standing on a dark cylindrical stand against a grey backdrop. The beard is rendered as rows of spiral curls, and the hair is shown as overlapping scale-like locks above a raised band with rounded knobs. The ear is carved in relief, the surface is worn, and the features at the front of the face are eroded.
