Description

A carved limestone head of a woman in three-quarter view, set on a black cylindrical stand against a grey backdrop. The hair is combed in wavy bands drawn back over the head, with the ears showing beneath, and the surface is pitted and worn. The neck is broken off at the base, and a small number label is attached to it.
