Description

A carved limestone head seen from the front, standing on a pale stone base against a black background. It wears a close-fitting cap with a raised rim across the forehead, and has large heavy-lidded eyes, a prominent straight nose and a small closed mouth. The surface is rough and pitted, with some chipping at the top of the cap and along the edges.
