Description

A carved limestone head seen in profile, facing left, with a flat band across the crown, a relief ear and a pitted surface. The nose and lips are worn, and the base of the neck is broken off. The head stands on a dark square plinth against a plain grey backdrop, with side lighting that brings out the modelling of the face and cheek.
